I was sent some of this lovely kava and I have tried it out over the last week or so. I’ve been using it during the day as well as in the evening and it’s a lovely kava.
It’s very easy drinking in common with most Tongan kavas. There is a slight pepperiness to it but the taste doesn’t linger.
The effects are quite heady at first as the kavain kicks in but it does settle down to a more balanced feel overall. I find I have been sleeping really well after it.
Overall I highly recommend this kava for a more balanced experience.

This stuff is awesome. If you are someone who struggles with bitterness, this ones for you. It is the smoothest, easiest drinking Kava I have ever tried and I have tried quite a few!
As for effects, this is a typical Tongan heady/ balanced Kava. Probably best for social situations or times you are not planning to go right to sleep. That said, it is definitely relaxing and pleasant. I highly recommend. The price is a major bonus too I have not seen these types of prices for such high quality kava. Brian shipped it the day I ordered it and the service was on point. If you like great Tongan Kava for a great price definitely check out Manga Ono!

This is a very good kava. First, the taste is so smooth. It actually tastes good (if kava can taste good). It is heady but not jittery at all. The effects are great and last quite awhile. No problem with sleep. It is one of the better Tongan kavas I have tried and is priced right. I would not hesitate to recommend this one. And Brian is a nice guy!

There is a new vendor of Tongan kava who is email only right now and he gave me a sample to try. The kava is pretty damn clean (heady but not edgy or spacey at all) and has a very distinct smell almost like co2 kava lactone paste. The price is similar to ofa’s kava so it is definitely affordable. I haven’t tried super high doses to see how heavy it can get but it’s an excellent choice for daytime kava. One of the better Tongan kavas I’ve had.

This kava ranks high in my Tongan Journey, perhaps the best in a while and I’ve tasted a few lately. Love the new bags, clean look and more importantly what is inside is what is important. This kava smells beyond fresh, I shoved my head in the bag and took a nice long whiff, it is everything good that I look when opening a bag, the grind is a mix between fine to slightly course which I love! Speaks to the artisanal quality of the product.
Like all great kavas, this one brews into a smooth and potent grog. Tastes like a fine kava with a pronounced kavain rush upfront, it has a sandy, barely spicy aftertaste which leaves my mouth nice and numb after each gulp. Effects come on immediately in the form of what I would describe as a wave of relaxation, followed by the sensation that you get carefully transported into a magical, calm place, where everything is right in the world, lol. Could have had something to do with the horrible week I have been having at work but I am damn certain it is also the quality of the kava. When it’s good it’s nice, but when it is amazing it becomes a special treat. This kava is amazing, and what makes it more so, are the very affordable prices.
I’d call it a must have and try for any Tongan/kava enthusiast!
